This campground has EVERYTHING you would ever need. Nice showers, bathroom, washers/dryers, nice little country store with cool souvenirs, plus gas pumps. Super worth the price you pay, would highly recommend!!
It was a nice, clean and friendly environment! We really enjoyed our stay here. They worked with us to offer firewood even thoigh we arrived later than planned. Such beautiful scenery :)
Awesome. clean. fun. accommodating.
Awesome spot to camp! Great shop with snacks and gifts and clean facilities including laundry, toilets, showers, and potable water. Everyone was welcoming and nice and there were cute cats to play with :)
We got to the campground at around 7:30 pm on a Friday night, and were helped right away get checked in. Check in appears to be available after 12 pm, but before 9 or 9:30 pm, because the store closes, and that's where you check in. The store had a good selection of souvenirs, as well as snacks and other items you might need. Camp tent sites were a little different from where they were indicated by with the map the host gave us, but we were able to find them and get settled in. The tent sites were parallel with the back of the main building, closest to the back of the property. There are several tent sites, and the sites have picnic tables and rock ring fire pits. The tent spots were close to the freeway, but it wasn't loud at night. Coyotes roamed and called at night. We had 2 dogs with us, and they weren't bothered by the noise. There was a playground area with swings. Showers and pay laundry machines were available 24/7, which was nice, and the showers were clean.
I had a wonderful stay at Bear Valley! I had some tent troubles and the manager kindly upgraded me to a sheep wagon to help me out. Awesome kindness!
Showers and gas station within reach are a great convenience. I highly recommend a stop at Bear Valley!
