Description
If you like your rough, out-of-the-way spots, East Park Campground is one for the list. Known for fishing and waterfowl hunting (but not super well-known to begin with), this campground is a secluded outdoor recreation haven. Lovers of primitive camping and DIY masters alike will thrive. There’s no boat launch at the campside reservoir, but you can haul your boat in yourself and have a float. Pack-in, pack-out’s the law of the land, but by all means, have a picnic! If your reaction to being told to take a hike is “OK!” you’ll do just fine here.
