Camping in the country.
Very peaceful and private country field on a finger of the little bear river. Lots of sand hill cranes and bird watching. It’s the county- so yes there are bugs- we expected that so we were prepared. Cools off nice in the evenings- makes for a great night sleep! Sunset was beautiful- slept thru sunrise. Close to Logan- plenty to do in the area. Yummy Local food beehive pub & grill & Angies diner. We have 28 ft trailer- no issues getting in or out.
Wonderful camping spot! We loved it. Thank you so much. One thing that we would recommend, but not required is a larger vehicle that can drive over an unpaved and grassy road. Incredible views! Amazing stars! Even could see the Milky Way.
We had a short time on the property, arrived around 3 and got set up next to the stream. Completely private and no one around. We had planned to go to bed early anyway but did have hide in our tent by dusk due the mosquitoes, they were intense. Would be a perfect place for those with an RV. Great for solitude and watching the sunrise and sunset.
Peaceful calm and fun
It was amazing! The field was clean and open amd because it was the 4th of july, we had a clear view of fireworks and the kids loved it. We were able to go kayaking and even had our puppy swim next to us.
Wonderful place to keep that easy eye on kids as they play and not worry about! 😉
As beautiful as it looks!
We have only wonderful things to say about this beautiful site. The host greeted us warmly at the driveway, and let us choose where to pitch our tent. She was friendly, but gave us our privacy. The field we were in was so picturesque and lovely, and both the sunset and sunrise were spectacular. The only noise we heard were the sounds of nature - so quiet! We were towing a trailer, and were able to get in and out fairly easily. I would 100% stay here again.
