Past trips
High Desert Camping
in High Desert Camping, New MexicoMy daughter & I are on a road trip & we enjoyed our two night stay here. We loved the little kitchen cook/prep space in the trees by the firepit. Other than a few vehicles going by during the day it was pretty quiet, especially at night. My daughter loved the sweet dogs & exploring the area with the host’s son.
Purgatoire Riverbottom
in Purgatory Riverbottoms, ColoradoMy daughter & I loved camping alongside the river at campsite #1. It was so nice & peaceful. There’s some noise from the highway but nothing too bad. I wasn’t aware that we weren’t able to park next to where we camped so we had to walk our camping gear in a little ways, but we just made a lighter camp since it was just one night so it wasn’t a big deal.
Zion Family Ranch Campground
in Zion Family Ranch, UtahWhat Gorgeous property to camp on. My daughter & I camped here for only one night, but I would have loved to have stayed longer. She loved kayaking in the pond. The bathrooms facilities are so nice & welcoming.
Camp Slacker
in Camp Slacker, ArizonaCampground is located on quiet dirt road. No traffic or lights to disturb you. Loved that they provided solar lights, picnic tables & grill at a centrally located cooking area as well as solar light stakes around the campground to ease in navigating the short walk to the bathroom at night. The hosts were so friendly.
Rescue Zoo camping
in Critter Camp, TennesseeGorgeous views, close to the National Park & a beautiful drive to Gatlinburg or PF. It was nice to have the fridge/freezer & kitchen area as an option when we didn’t want to cook outside. My daughter loved the animals & didn’t want to leave.
