We have camped here twice. Both times in the fall. It is absolutely gorgeous! Our family loves the seclusion plus hanging out by the river with short hikes to take. John has been very easy to work with. Great spot to enjoy the fall weather and scenery!

The campground was nice. It is a beautiful spot right on the water. It is hard to choose by just words for the first time visit. Descriptions are hard to visualize but fairly accurate. The overhead picture view gives the impression that campsites are further apart or more secluded from one another. Hosts have done a good job describing. We chose 4 to be close to rope swing but after seeing would prefer 1 or 10 and 11. They are the most private. It is a nice place to camp. We hope to return in order to float.

We respect nature and try to not destroy when we camp but it was a little uncomfortable to think that if we burnt any twig or leaf that host would be upset. Maybe if we continue to come back then we can work on our comfort level. New is always hard. No complaints about how we were welcomed or treated.
