This place is fantastic!! The hammock was an added comfort and was great. Joshua has really put thought into the set up. We took the walking path back through the woods. It was beautiful. Can't wait to come back!

This place is very private. Even though there are houses nearby, you wouldn't know it once you are back the lane. Very quiet and secluded, exactly what I wanted.
The GPS directions do take you to the main house but Joe was there to help direct me to the next road and driveway back to the spot. Joe was very friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at many hipcamps but I must say this is #1 in our book!
1st of all, this was a VERY last minute booking since we were not planning to stay in the area another night. Julie was so helpful and accommodating for our last minute need.
Upon arrival, we were met by Julia and family (including their horse) and felt very welcomed. She has a beautiful stone house in the front.
Julia then escorted us through the trees behind the house on a curvy tree-lined path which opened to a clearing with a fire ring. Very private and secluded.
She then brought us some firewood.
I cannot express in words how BEAUTIFUL this camping spot was. I have so many pictures but I just couldn't capture the essence of this site. This is exactly what I envision a secluded primitive camping experience to be.
There are many places to set up your tent.
There is an abundance of wildlife here to enjoy.
I slept very well here.
In the morning, we were able to see the goats and chickens. Julia's dog was so gentle and loving with my daughter.
We will definitely be back to stay longer the next time so we can enjoy this spot to the fullest!
You won't find a more beautiful, secluded site than this! With a sweet and accommodating host!!

This place was great. The host has a fantastic set up with a communal space in the barn. There is water and snacks available. The port-a-toilet is clean and has a light inside.
We chose the site between the barn and the ongoing build of a cabin. There is a beautiful creek right behind this campsite which was nice for the kid to explore.
The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Lori even gave me a pair of socks since I forgot to pack some!
The only negative things I can say (which are not really negative and not anyone's fault) is that GPS might take you down the road a ways. Lori was quick to help re-direct us. There were also other campers there partying until 130am in the barn so if noise is an issue, you might want to choose a location further away from the barn.
Overall this is a fantastic site with very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful scenery as well.

You have to drive back a path to the pond but once there, it is beautiful and peaceful with LOTS of wildlife!
