in Bar UK River Ranch Camp & Ride, WashingtonGreat camp & horseback ride!
We really enjoyed this campground on the Lewis River. Erik and Michelle were wonderful hosts. I even caught three Cuttthroat trout right off of our campsite. The best part of our stay was the horseback riding! We were novice, but Erik is a great teacher and we felt like we gained a lot knowledge and skill through Erik’s guidance. The trail to town and back was spectacular! We will come back here to camp and ride with Erik.
Cheval Cellars Wine Camp
in Cheval Cellars BnB Camping, WashingtonUmm… let’s go with wow!
We did the wine tour with Marcus and he was extremely knowledgeable and made the science behind the wine fun. The camp spot we picked was stunning, private and protected from winds.. although the wind was fairly mild all weekend. We had lovely walks along the orchards in the am and picturesque views during sunset! Marcus is a great host and we would definitely stay again!

Juniper Spur Ranch
in Juniper Spur Ranch, CaliforniaSimply wow!
We had originally book Mt Shasta 360 hipcamp and upon arrival didn’t feel safe there, although it did have a good view of Shasta. So last minute we decided to pack up our camp and look for another hipcamp nearby and by luck we found Patrice’s property. She was a wonderful host and we felt the views were even better than Mt Shasta 360 hipcamp and best of all this was relative reasonably priced $50 vs $125 per night at the other place. We felt very safe here and the ranch was very peaceful and tranquil. We had an amazing time and the views of Shasta from our campsite 2 were breath taking! See pics
Mt. Shasta 360
in Mt. Shasta 360, CaliforniaGreat views but felt unsafe
Sharing our honest review here as we have done many hipcamp. Michael is a great host and was very response and the campsite does have a great view of Shasta; however, we did not feel safe in this spot. There were burnt cars along the way with garbage from some unknown camps very close by. I also thought it was over priced. We had booked for two nights, but we made the decision an hour after arrival seeing the high winds at the site and feeling unsafe to find another hip camp. Luckily we found the a hipcamp called Juniper Spur ranch 10-15 mins away and Patrice being able to accommodate us last minute. Ok so why do I think this site is over priced? The Juniper Spur ranch in our opinion had an even better view of Shasta and felt completely safe and spectacular… we got lucky thanks to my wife who found the Juniper Ranch, phew. Anyways nothing against Michael who was a responsive host, it just didn’t work for us. We did not ask for a refund as it was our mistake for not doing more research of the property.
Cedar Bloom Open Camping
in Cedar Bloom, OregonWhat a relaxing campground
A serene campground with deer, wild turkey and lots of birds on the property. We took our pop up 4wheel camper and had a great time. Highly recommend!
Molalla Ripple
in Molalla Ripple, OregonWow, what a find!
Beautiful spot right on the river. It fit our F350 with 4whlcamper. Really nice host and a really well maintained and private campground with cows and pigs and charming sounds of birds. I really liked how far away the sites were from the house and also a good distance between sites. Bathroom were clean and it was really fun spot, highly recommend!
