You guys. I almost wish this hadn’t been my first Hipcamp experience because it’s going to be impossible to top!!! Lily was born to be a hostess and her love for her land and the people that come to experience it is palpable. The site was even more beautiful than in the pictures and super quiet. We were so close to everything Acadia (and I contend that the Schoodic side is waaaay better than the main park) as well as little restaurants and businesses and towns with farmer’s markets (like Winter Harbor)…. it was all exactly the Maine I was looking for. One night Lily shared some clams (harvested like, twenty yards away in the bay) and perfect greens from her gorgeous garden with me. Pretty sure I don’t need to say how magical that dinner was! I can’t recommend this site and this host highly enough. Thank you, Lily - we’ll definitely be back!!
