Twin Oaks
in Twin Oaks, New JerseyI was looking for an affordable and dog-friendly place to stay so I could hike in the Delaware Water Gap. This spot was very close to both the Mohican Outdoor Center and the Mt. Tammany trailhead, so it fit the bill.
Peaceful and quiet (ok, not that quiet, in early May the birds were out in force in the morning!). Nice to have access to a shower and bathroom down the hill in the cabin. I was kind of pushing it in my Prius on the access road up the hill, but I was fine, and just went slow.
