Gorgeous views of Katahdin and great, private location for winter fun and exploration including snowmobiling, hiking, and nordic touring. It's clearly a well-loved multi-generational family cabin, though I think it's ability to appeal to renters is limited by the odd sleeping situation: two bedrooms with very un-private bunkbeds. I think at the very least one of these could/should be converted to a traditional bedroom. I do a lot of getaways with other couples and friends, and I'm having a hard time imagining how that would work here. It could also use some decluttering. The cabin itself has a lot of charm and the living room/kitchen is really lovely, but definitely needs some updates and changes to sleeping arrangement to be a rental and not just a family game camp.

Awesome org, awesome hut. Great way to feel “off grid” without a ton of work. Excellent choice to get less experienced folks prepared for off-grid cabin stays.

Great spot for a stay Downeast when on the road and wanting some quiet.
