Glenlyon Dam View from the top Campsite is on the edge of the start of Glenlyon Dam was once a part of the Historic Glenlyon Station. The Dam split the property in 1974 and our farm - named Tilba Tilba - place of many waters is now a Rare Breeds Farm with 7 breeds of sheep plus milking goats, alpacas, pigs, shorthorn cattle and poultry.
When the dam is 50% full you can go water skiing - we have our own boat ramp, but less than 50% then it is really just Pikes creek. A beautiful peaceful place with abundant wildlife on the dam and two resident emus often seen wandering around.
Power 40m from site, toilet is as available. BYO Drinking Water. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and be cleaned up after.
Farm tours and goat milking demonstrations are free of charge. Goat Milking is seasonal from Spring to Autumn. Some veggies and eggs for sale from the farm. Shearing Demonstrations Late November/Early December
Fishing is by permit only as Glenlyon Dam is a stocked Dam. $50 per year or $10 per week allows you to fish at Qld's 63 stocked Dam. Fish include Murray Cod, Silver Perch, Catfish, Yellow Belly.
