in Robert B.’s Land, MichiganExcellent location for enjoying Elberta and all the region has to offer. The site was quiet (some road noise from MI-22, but that was ok), and a wonderful spot for viewing the Perseid meteor shower. We had a pleasant hike on property with our dog (off leash) and appreciated being so close to so much to do; kayaking, biking, beaches, nature preserves, and good coffee at the Conundrum Cafe. Also, a fairly short and very scenic drive to Empire and the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. Robert is an attentive host; we appreciated his off-the-grid dwelling project and plans for developing the property. Great place to stay if you don't mind roughing it a bit!
