Exclusively yours, this acreage of privacy was historically a larger soldiers settlements property comprising a dairy, piggery and wool farming. The quality of the land hasn't changed with most of the region's farmland in use, so this is a cool piece of privacy in the Macedon Ranges.
Currently home to a few chickens and a beloved resident Samoyed dog "Suto", the property is also visited by many native Australian birdlife species, many marsupials including kangaroos, echidna, possums and even a koala.
With close proximity to coffee shops and local stores of Romsey and Lancefield Providore, you have only a few minutes to drive to stock up on local produce.
Walking the trials around Hanging Rock is a 10 minute drive and Mt Macedon lookout 15min. If you've come for the peace and tranquility - check out our extras to make your stay just that bit more homey.
We look forward to saying hi soon!

The Stables was a functioning stable, dairy and horse and cart garaging area in the properties heyday many decades ago. The cattle would be walked up a lane, be held in the cobblestone yards you have exclusive use of, be walked into the stalls, where your pizza oven now stands, manually milked, and then turned out to what is now your BBQ area.
The property has 4 chickens in "Hotel De Chookas" around the back of your hayshed parking area. The eggs in your fridge are courtesy of them.
The paddocks to the back of the property are yours to walk to take in the peace and the wildlife. They are abundant with kangaroos and their joeys in this spring season so we ask you go quietly and slowly so they can move away slowly.

Murray Views
in Murray Views, VictoriaGreat views, peaceful and serene.
Murray Views lives up to its name. We had a wonderful view of the 'horseshoe bend' from our location. It was peaceful, and very engaging in the environment with pelicans, local birdlife and the wide open sky a natural warm experience. Jackie and Kel are close by for the hook up of the RV's power and water but discrete and very respectful of your space to just relax and unwind. Although we didnt use the fire pit and tables this time, it gives us a good excuse to return !! The walk along the banks to the bridge was good and i imagine anyone wanting to fish would enjoy the sand bank at the bottom of the property, very calm and protected. Thanks for being lovely hosts.
