(Dispersed site)
This is a nice spot with lots of space and privacy. The directions could be a bit better. The GPS location works, but Google Maps will take you the long way and the gate that direction says the same thing so a bit confusing. Definitely watch for the power poles. I think it would help if the directions said something like, "ignore your GPS as you get close and instead turn about 100 yards or so before the power poles." There are also a bunch of dogs. They were quiet during the day but barked a lot at night. We didn't know where to park and ended up stopping about 200 yards from the home. The ground is covered with fragile desert lichen or similar that you think maybe you shouldn't drive on. I think it would really help if the host would identify several dispersed spots far enough apart and away from the house to not be bothered by the dogs.

Past trip
in High Desert Pasture, OregonGreat spot, nice for dogs

This is a really nice, open spot just outside of Burns, OR. Marilyn is very responsive and helpful. We really appreciated the porta potty. The pasture is fenced as well so our dog could run free and safely.

This is a great spot. It's near town but very private and lots of space. The inclusion of the porta potty is a plus for tent campers or those with small trailers. The host is super helpful and great communication. Directions are spot on (which I'm finding is rare on Hipcamp). The local deer paid us a visit and despite the hurricane-like weather it cleared up enough in the eveing to see the ocean.

Past trip
in A peaceful retreat for the soul, OregonNice, quiet spot for overnight

(Site 1)
This is a nice quiet place with some fun decorations. Ellen is friendly and helpful. It is in a rural neighborhood near her house so privacy is somewhat lacking. If you are dry camping you might want a privacy pop up or something. It was just a stopover for me so not a big deal.

This is a really neat spot, but the directions could be better as well as the host's communication. He did reply once but not to my second inquiry. The GPS will take you directly to a spot but it doesn't match the directions. I could not find any cattle guard nor road. There is large rock fire ring so it does look like a camping spot but some additional clarification from the host and maybe a sign would help make it clear that you are in the right spot.
