High Desert Pasture
in High Desert Pasture, OregonAgeless Aspen
in Kraay's Market & Garden, IdahoMy family spent 2 nights at Sherry & Larry’s “Ageless Aspen”. We loved it. The farm is so peaceful and relaxing. It is a working farm: Sherry &Larry have an organic produce business, chickens and horses. My boys loved seeing the organic gardens and meeting some of the goats and chickens. Be sure to ask Sherry about available organic products for sale (including her fresh eggs — yum!). Their description of having wonderful water is true and it is the best tasting water you will find nearly anywhere.
Zion Wright Family Ranch-ecocamping
in Zion Wright Ranch Eco-Camp, UtahGrand Canyon Glamping Juniper Yurt
in Grand Canyon Glamping, ArizonaZach and Carrie have a lovely piece of land and have done a great job of creating a welcoming and low-key yurt experience. Zach gave us a warm welcome on arrival and helped orient us to the property. Lots of personal touches in the yurts as well as the common areas make for a friendly stay. We would happily stay again.
Falcon Acres- Serenity & Views
in Sunshine, Serenity and Sierras, NevadaCovered Campsite
in LOGE Mt. Shasta, CaliforniaThe LOGE covered campsites are a hip and fun idea. Love the lights, furniture, common areas, fire pits the bathrooms and showers were super new and clean. The location is great too — not far walk to great food, drinks and organic grocery. BUT, if you are looking to actually get a full night’s sleep, bring your earplugs — the I-5 noise, freight trains and the neighbors talking until 2 am were tough to take without earplugs. With earplugs you’ll be fine and feel hipper than you probably actually are!
