The Camp was originally opened more than 30 years ago as a Summer Camp for disabled Children, it was a gem of a location, later the property was purchased by the county and used as a Training Center for Law Enforcement about 5 years ago the county and due to budget cuts and inability to maintain the structure of the camp the county sold it to what is now Sidermans Family Camp and Conference Center a Non-Profit Organization that funds a Summer Camp for the Jewish Kids to experience the great outdoors. Sidermans have put in blood sweet and tears to build this camp to efficiency to now open it to the general community to share and provide fundraising for the kids activities and stays during the summer season. It truly is a great gift. A majority of you stay pays into the Non-profit so you too are contributing to the children's experiences.. Thank YOU!
