Past trips
Casa Choya Magestic Views and WiFi
in Casa Choya Magestic Views and WiFi, New MexicoYour desert camping dream
I had a phenomenal time here. The drive from downtown Taos was short and for the privacy, views, and ease offered, I would stay here again. Rob was such a welcoming man and we had great conversations. If you’re looking for a night on the Mesa, this is it!
Camping at Low Gear Farmstead
in Low Gear Farmstead, TexasStress free spot
My friends and I had a great time! We went during January, so the nights were cold, but with the firewood being onsite it's easy to purchase and use. The space was large for one car, van, and a camping kitchen setup. Perfect spot to set up hammocks and hang out for a few days. Would recommend to anyone.
Serene River Camping
in Cotton Gin Falls , TexasRiverfront fun
I would return here for sure! This site was more than accommodating and Donna and Laura made the visit so special. I brought my nephew who had never camped before and there were so many activities to keep an eleven year old happy. We got to feed the catfish at night with the group. I would bring my whole family back. The private river entrance is such a great time to swim without people being so noisy around you.
The Crescent Oak Nature Cabin
in Off Grid Immersion Camp, TexasA primitive escape
This cabin was exactly what we needed! There are no people around. The cabin has lights and fans which is what you need on a hot summer night. The bathroom was a nice touch for such a primitive spot. We had a great time.
Our only suggestion is pack bug spray! It is mosquito season, but there was still water near the cabin location which caused them to be even worse. There is also a train you will hear sometimes.
Boulderdash Tent Site #4(Cliffside)
in Boulderdash Cabin & RV Park, TexasGreat escape
The amenities here were great! The group I went with had never been to a site like this. The horse trailer bathroom is super cute and functional! We loved how the table had cute checkers and tic tac toe games painted on it. We had a great relaxing weekend here. The neighbors and hosts are super sweet! Andrea was more than accommodating and her littles are so sweet.
Al's Hideaway Primitive Camping
in Al's Hideaway, TexasThe perfect escape
We had such a fantastic time! We wanted a secluded camping spot and we got it. Although we had to leave the trip early, we planned to come back very soon.
The property was beautiful and well kept. Driving was easy and the pavilion with bathrooms were wonderful.
Very dog friendly.
Secluded Tent Camping
in Seco Ridge Campgrounds, TexasIt was an absolute joy to stay here! The secluded area was exactly what we were looking for and the primitive camping had more to offer than expected. I would come here again with a group of friends anytime. Just walking the property was entertaining enough.
