This is the MOST amazing campsite. Terry and Ray are so lovely and take such amazing care of this spectacular piece of land. They were great fun to chat with and made sure I had anything I needed.
An unbelievable clear spring fed pond (amazing!!) kept me swimming all day, also a canoe, some solar lights, wonderful spring water for drinking, and a picnic table were all ready for me, even with a little bouquet of flowers. The site had a perfect fire pit for cooking on and a spotless outhouse. There were a million lovely places to pitch my tent but I chose alongside the pond to watch the stars.
Some catch and release fishing was so fun, and watching the sunset and a night swim were the icing on the cake.
A town 10 mins away has any last minute needs, along with the great historical Neustadt brewery, a must stop for great beer and a short tour. But you won’t want to leave the campsite, it is a piece of heaven…you may even see a deer or two!

This is the greatest little A-frame cabin, a wonderful, cute space to enjoy the outdoors. Ian didn’t miss a single detail building this treasure (that I almost don’t want to share!!). The tent attached to the cabin is closed away from the bugs but wonderfully open to the forest. It rained in the morning so all I had to do was easily pull down the windowed roof/door.
I had a perfect fireplace, with a great supply of wood, and a tented-in picnic table to protect from bugs. The cutest heated outdoor shower and outhouse are close by and prettily lit by solar lights.
Also, the best sunset views off the dock, along with paddleboards/kayak and swimming are perfect.
Ian incredibly built the property himself and put so much care and detail into making it just perfect.
I really had the best weekend and can’t wait to come back. I travel and use Hipcamp quite a-lot and is the one to beat!!! But don’t tell anyone!!!!

A spacious tent tucked in a lovely meadow! Very private and lovely to just sit and be in nature. Swimming, trails and amenities are close by. Ivan was super helpful and has a great garden. I had the best asparagus I’ve ever had!!
Keep in mind there are beehives relatively close to the camp, and you must drive (or park and walk) across the meadow of tall grass to get to the tent

This is the loveliest little piece of heaven. Everything was just so perfect, all the little touches, nothing was missed. The tent was soooo cute and comfortable. The bed, the rugs, even electricity!
The kitchen is so well equipped and the shower and outhouse are ADORABLE.
It is truly a wonderfully equipped and pretty space from the little meadow in the middle to the fairy lights in the trees. I can’t wait to come back!

First off, the yurtle which was hand built by Dave is adorable and placed so perfectly in the woods. I was able to drive right up to it as he had the snowy road and trails cleared immaculately.
Waking up to the forest view from the huge window was truly amazing. The wood stove worked hard throughout the very cold -28C weekend and Dave was quick to bring more wood and check on me regularly. Note, the firewood he provided was sustainably harvested from his own land and was amazing quality for the stove. I didn’t have to fight with it not even once to keep it burning (which is a first in my cabin/camp rental experience).
Feeding the chickadees from my hand and walking the trails through the forest were wonderful.
A wonderful peaceful retreat and I can’t wait to return

This is the loveliest little cabin in the woods! And Joan is amazing, kind and communicative. Was so nice to have a little heater in the cabin with comfy beds and ALL the views! It is indeed pines in the sky!
And I can’t wait to go back

What a stunning campsite, such a beautiful, private spot deep in the trees! This was winter camping at its best! Lots of wood and a great fire pit, lovely trails and even a cute little outhouse tucked in the trees. This is the kind of campsite we all dream about!
And Barbara and her husband were so kind and quick to help when I had car trouble,
I can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful little cabin with all the luxuries!! Lianna was easy to communicate with and Wanda was so lovely and generous and kind. Will definitely be back!!

It’s the cutest little cabin in the woods. Bring all your own comforts and spend some amazing time in nature. All the windows and loft bed are so lovely.
Ben was so accommodating at the last minute and was super communicative.
