Creek side get-away
in Pleasant Valley Farm Camp, OhioA very peaceful, secluded, and beautiful spot. Site 4 has lots of privacy, with nice amenities closer to the public areas. The creek is nice to jump into on a hot day! Wonderful hosts, hope to visit again.
Camper nr. Seneca Lake
in Juneberry Farm, New YorkDeer Spring
in Deer Spring, OhioFruitdale Farm Primitive Camping
in Fruitdale Farm, OhioFruitdale Farm is really beautiful and peaceful! I stayed at Site 1, right next to the pond, fire pit, and Aimee's lovely garden. I was impressed by the structures and signage throughout the camp. If you like swimming you're in luck...the pond is pure bliss. Aimee was very accommodating, offering hiking suggestions and a paddle board for floating on the pond.
Deer Spring
in Deer Spring, OhioDeer Spring was a beautiful campsite. Kevin will meet you at the entrance, and lead you and your car up a steep hill and down to where the campsite rests in a valley. There was a picnic table under a blooming dogwood tree, a delicate pond with tadpoles, and woods all around where deer and birds reside. This campsite is very private - you have this spot surrounded by hills all to yourself. There is only one campsite, and no views of neighbors or other guests. It's quiet and peaceful. Climb the hills for a gorgeous view of the sunset. Connect with nature in the woods.
Kevin was an excellent host, gave a nice overview of the area and what to expect while camping there. There is cell reception at the site; he was both generous with any questions/concerns, and respectful of space and privacy during the stay.
You will be able to drive a car directly to the campsite; there are branches and logs in the woods for a fire, but you'll need to chop firewood with a saw and hatchet provided by Kevin; bring your own drinking water.
Highly recommended - a beautiful place to visit. Thanks for the wonderful vacation!
Rustic Camping in Turkey Hollow
in The Turkey Hollow Campground, OhioA very lush peaceful, private camping spot. The wooded campsites, pond, creek, and wildlife were special!
