Death Valley Stargazing Camp
in Death Valley Stargazing Camp, CaliforniaInformation provided was totally in
We were not able to get to the site. You had to read way down in the confirmation email to find very rough directions to get to the site. When we thought we found the final road, it was 6 miles of road impossible to drive on, AND HIP CAMP MADE NO MENTION OF THIS FACT. WE ALSO FOUND ON THE MAP THAT THE ROAD WAS BLOCKED, AND DIDN'T WANT TO DRIVE 6 MILES ON IMPASSABLE ROAD TO HAVE TO TURN BACK. HIP CAMP ALSO IGNORED TEXTA FOR HELP UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING AFTER WE WERE SUPPOSED TO STAY THERE. THEY HAVE A 60 DAY CANCELLATION, AND SINCE I MADE THE RESERVATION THE NIGHT BEFORE, I GUESS THEY WON'T REFUND MY approximately $48. Not sur I'll ever use Hip Camp again.
Flicker's Roost RV Site
in Flicker's Roost RV Site, IdahoPeaceful and restful
Flicker's Roost, was absolutely wonderful for my wife and i. There is only one RV spot, and it is shaded and next to a horse pasture and very private with electric, water, sewer, and a fire pit. We had a flock of turkeys to watch in the morning. We tried to adjust our itinerary so we could stay a second night, but alas, we couldn't. Loved it!
