Paddock Pleasure: Exclusive Use

Nice property, and beautifully secluded for not too far from Perth.
We hired the paddock as had a trailer and couldn’t get by the river. It was lovely seeing the horses in the paddock. Quiet and amazing star gazing. The kids loved playing among the big old hun tree.
However feel in comparison to many of our other stays, it was over priced.
We would recommend better instructions on entry and maybe some simple signage. We had to rescue another couple on our arrival who was bogged going through the wrong (?) gate -a stressful few hours start to our holiday.
However the drive down to the river was easy in our 4x4, and the setting is absolutely beautiful. Very shallow so nice and relaxing for the kids and dog to play in. Water was very clean and so nice to cool off in. We were lucky to have it mostly to ourselves on the first morning. However several other campers and vehicles arrived later on, and with only one beach access to the river, we weren’t able to get another swim in.
We will certainly return, but will aim for mid week when it’s a little quieter.
There is no town or petrol station nearby so make sure you’re well prepared.
A beautiful property. Thank you again.
Olive Hill Farm RV Campground
in Olive Hill Farm RV Campground Margaret River, Western AustraliaA brilliant stay, thank you
Lovely owners.
Was great for the kids to see the sheep wondering around camp.
Enjoyed all the beautiful little birds who would visit the camp daily.
The bays are spaced apart really well, not crowded on top of one another.
Nice place to bring the dog.
It’s very central and super close to colonial brewery.
Easy dump and cleaning station.
Only thing we found missing was nowhere to really walk on site except back out onto the road or among stumps- but a very small thing.
We will certainly be back, a great stay! Highly recommend.

A wonderful location. Nice and secluded and quiet. Great with the dog being so close to the amazing peaceful bay.
Thanks again!
