in River's Edge, WashingtonDream Cabin
in Rainbow Springs, WashingtonThis cabin has all you need for cooking and sleeping (bring your own linens/sleeping bags) but I would only recommend go during summer months to avoid the wasps that make this home during the colder months.
Make sure you take the quick canyon walk just past the cabin as it was a beautiful unknown to most of the world likely.
18' Tipi on Working Ranch
in Water Rock Ranch, NevadaYES!!!! This tipi was ana amazing experience!
We had a blast and definitely felt at peace in the tipi. It's such a relaxing and wonderful experience there. The bathhouse was glorious and the host Pepper Jay was so so so kind! She guided me through the morning feedings of the animals and her beautiful greenhouse. Check out that greenhouse at night it's freaking amazing!
Must go back again and again!
Elk's Grove Cabin #3
in Mt. Peale Animal Sanctuary, UtahThese cabins are the real deal. Everything you need for some peace and quiet. The beauty that surrounds this place was magnificent / the people here are all wonderful and super kind / and the horses are so kind to your energy.
The cabins were warm and we had everything for a great meal on a cross country road trip! In the morning we were able to spend time with the horses and really learn a lot about our energy.
I would absolutely return with my family and for way longer!
Pinnacle Springs Cabin
in Pinnacle Springs Cabin, ArkansasWhoa! Absolutely must visit if you are anywhere close to Pinnacle Springs Cabin. John was an amazing host and facilitated the most amazing adventures! The cabin was awesome - bring your gear and relax with the amazing fog in the mornings. The grill was a nice surprise to have in the morning.
The weather had been super rainy the previous week and the entire region was flooded. John was ready with kayaks for us to help us cross the river and get to the cabin. I've definitely got to come back and get some lessons in peak season because John was an amazing host / guide / adventure partner / all of the above!
Go here! Go here! Go here!
Two Hawk Hammock
in Two Hawk Hammock, FloridaHeidi and Ken were A - MAZING hosts. Heidi even took me around to the various activities all within walking distance on her golf cart. Their property is beautiful and filled with wonder! They have horses, goats, mini horses, cats, emus!!!! and more! Their Hammock Tree is such a wonderful and peaceful experience. I loved the opportunity to hang my hammock up but also let the kid inside of my out by climbing all over the low and uniquely shaped branches. Kids will love it. Adults will love it. This location is for everyone!
Camping space is vast and covered. They have water / restrooms inside their craft house where Heidi manages soap making courses and her multiple businesses. You can catch her feeding in the morning and all the animals are so friendly! One kitty even wanted to hang out with me all night!
Lastly, the activities surrounding this place are so cool! Devil's Den Spring is no joke a 30 second walk and they have connections for you their. A little further but delight walk to Cedar Woods and Lake is super close to the property too! You will feel like you're in Jurassic Park, I promise! There they have a beautiful nature walk, botanical gardens, amazing rare tortoises and other animals and much much more!
You're only 40 minutes outside of downtown Gainesville but filled with the immersive Florida nature experience. A must stay and must explore vast.
Treehouse Cabin Retreat
in Treehouse Cabin Retreat - Florida, FloridaWHOA!!!! The Treehouse was so much better than I could have imagined!!! They had everything you could ever need for cooking / a smoker / a grill / huge fire pit for you and your family or your friends or both! they had plenty of lodging and it'd would be a great winter camping as well with plenty of space to set up tents.
I have to say the treehouse was more than just a place to stay. They had build in adult like treehouse uniqueness to it. I'll leave this to your imagination and let you experience on your own but I loved discovering all the unique treehouse vibes around each corner. (you can see them in my pictures too ha)
I will definitely recommend and stay here again!
