Joshua’s family property is the perfect escape, exactly what I was looking for in a night away, and conveniently located less than an hour from Columbus. There are three campsites so you may be alone or may have neighbors, but they’re spaced far enough apart that it isn’t a nuisance. The composting toilet even had scented candles, ha! I stayed in the first spot which was beautifully shaded and right along a small creek. Ran into wild turkeys on the property, and watched frogs hop around the site. Loved waking up to roosters calling! Firewood and kindling was provided and refilled upon request. As a woman camping alone there, it meant a lot to me to feel comfortable and safe. I will absolutely stay there again!
