Amazing campground! Very kind and hospitable hosts. We ventured out to this campground, with the family to enjoy a quick weekend getaway, and once we parked the van, no need to go anywhere!

We saw a huge bald eagle fishing in a Fly Fisherman’s dream river (right next to our site), along with a mature beaver (2-3 feet long!). I had no idea that beavers grew to be that long.

There is a brand new kids playground, which our 4 year old loved, a cute tiny house (for rent), and excellent firewood available for sale.

Perfect for either tent camping, tiny housing, or RVing. We have a class b van, and the legit 30 AMP pedestal worked great. This is a excellent campground, that is uniquely situated on an exclusive fly fishing Mecca. Highly recommended coming here, and staying a while! Ask about the tiny house—since these are trendy now. The river view, with the doors open is breathtaking.

We look forward to coming back during the ski season!

Lovely wind-protected site in the best kiteboarding location on OBX! We parked our Class-B, and didn’t move it for 3 days—a testament to the ideal location. A little tiki torch and picnic table awaited us. Lots of privacy, and great hosts that gave us space. Don’t hesitate to book this camp, and begin your own adventure. Bring the skateboard or bike to utilize the paved bike / walking path on RT 12. We should have stayed longer!!
