The Campground is within a mile drive or walk to the trail head to Water Canyon Hike and Squirrel Canyon Hike in Hildale, Utah. Water Canyon is directly behind Zion National Park and only a 45 minute drive! (There is no physical address for our campground. The best way to find it on a map is to find Water Canyon Road in Hildale, Utah. Travel .9 miles from the beginning of the road.)
Our six regular campsites and one canvas tent site all offer stunning views of the Canaan Mountains. The campsites offer secluded wilderness camping experiences. Each sight includes many indigenous trees and plants, campfire, picnic table, and tent spaces. The views, hike, and nearby attractions are spectacular. There is one restroom, but no water facilities on our campground. However, 1 mile away, Maxwell Park provides fresh spring water. Please pack out your own trash.
Water Canyon is located up the canyon from the town of Hildale, Utah. Hildale has an interesting past. It is was founded by a religious group known as the FLDS church. Water Canyon has a natural spring that runs nonstop. If you would like to know more about Hildale, Utah all you need to do is google it.
