Intro: In addition to Hipcampers, I host WWOOFers and Airbnb guests. My day job is to train and consult with parents, teachers, and therapists on their interactions with children.

Welcome to Las Madrinas! We have an orchard of apples, plums, cherries, figs, and pears, as well as a sizable vegetable garden in the process of being restored, and a meadow we are planning to convert into a food forest. (Our yurt neighbors have already started this process on their side.)
This once was the 30-acre Smiths' Egg Farm. The Smiths continue to live nearby; they only sold this piece off, as well as the land with the yurt neighbors next door. We bought it in June of 2020 and have been working with WWOOFers to slowly develop the garden and maintain the property. We are about to partner with Plant Based Food Share, a permaculture program that works with farms to feed and food-educate underserved BIPOC people in the Seattle area.
