We are a husband and wife team, with a passion for all things travel-related. We lived in Moscow, Russia for almost 8 years, so we have been privileged to travel in a wide variety of regions around the world from Russia to Uganda, The Netherlands to Mongolia, we have spent a lot of time exploring different cultures, languages, and food with our three daughters. We bought our beautiful Wimberley, Texas property in 2009 and have worked for 10 years to cut trails, plant flowers, and build a place that we can comfortably share with others. The Mongolian yurts that we've built are the result of 3000 years worth of engineering brilliance to create the most amazing, cozy, warm-in-the-winter, cool-in-the-summer structures. We've made each one private and added the amenities that we like to have when we travel. Come visit Yurtopia Wimberley and prepare to relax into a state of bliss!     Great place to get out of the city in the beautiful and scenic countryside. Everything was perfect, extreme attention to detail!

    Where do I even start?? This place exceeded my expectations a million times over. My husband and I were so excited about the yurt, but had no idea what an amazing experience it would be. We were able to enjoy the hot tub while watching Netflix, grill ourselves a delicious dinner, all while enjoying the privacy of the gorgeous outdoors. The yurt was so amazingly comfortable, and you could set the temperature to anything you wanted. The hot tub was PERFECT for our cold evening and morning (yes, we got in both times). The upper deck had gorgeous views and a hammock that I never wanted to get out of. I can't get over how amazing our time was!! It's perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary or just fun weekend away! I can't wait to come back here!
