Linens are provided for the beds and the bathroom and our new shower facilities are a short walk. Each cabin can sleep, two adults and two small children. The Kasitas are minimally equipped so bring anything you normally would when you go camping.
Make sure you stop by the Hammock Garden close by to chill, meet other folks, or make some drinks at our community bar.

There are few places that I roll up to and audibly gasp at--this was one of them.
I arrived at sunset, just as the orange glow of the sun was leaving the water. The view was stunning and more than I expected.
These cabins are right on the lake, giving you the BEST view out of any site on the whole property. I stayed in the winter time when no one else was there (expect lots and lots of Canada Geese) and it was perfectly serene (aside from some noise from a plant across the lake). If you're any artist looking for a place to hole up and work on your craft for a while, you should consider staying here in December.
The cabins function as tiny homes, with nothing but two beds (one is a couch style, the other a loft) and a breakfast table. The heater works exceptionally well, and despite freezing temperatures I had to turn it down in the middle of the night.
Aside from the killer views, the real gem of this property is the outdoor area. A deck, picnic table, really nice fire pit, mini grill, outdoor sink and twinkling lights make for the coziest of outdoor spaces. We spent all night by the fire, eating cheese and crackers and drinking our DTX IPAs.
Honestly, this space is perfect for anyone--family reunion? Rent all the cabins for the weekend (they are all in walking distance of one another). Family holiday? Bring the kiddos and let them splash in the lake in the summer time. Weekend getaway? Enjoy lakefront property and the simplicity of tiny home living.
Morale of the story--I definitely recommend this location.
The Kasitas at Lake Texoma was a perfect destination for myself and my girlfriend to ring in the New Year. We stayed a total of 3 days and it was a great place to get away and relax. It was really cold during our stay but the cabins were a welcoming place to warm up and rest our heads at the end of the day. The beds were super comfy and we never lacked power and there are even USB outlets in the plugs! We're already making plans with friends to come back during the summer to experience fun in the sun.
We had such a good time! Sam was so helpful and so sweet. The tiny cabin is right on the lake with a pull out king bed that was super comfortable and a top loft that could easily fit 1 adult or 2 small children. We had an amazing grill and fire pit along with an outdoor sink. We brought our dogs who love hanging out on the deck and was just an overall super enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
The kasitas were beautiful! It was everything we expected. We didnt get to stay a full weekend bc we had a family emergency and had to go back home after 1 night. However, that one night was awesome, and waking up to the view of the lake! One downside was the map of the area, we had kasita 9, but the layout of the map and the kasitas were not matching up. We had to drive around multiple times, plus not all the kasitas were labeled, so I had to look for it by foot. Other than that, everything was great. I would recommend this place. We're planning to come back in a few months to fully experience it!
Site & lodging are great, rr's..not
I really liked the kasita & everything at the site was great. They were a little close together but most people in that environment tend to leave each other alone so it wasn't disturbing. The RR facilities left something to be desired. The permanent RR was missing a shower head and only had 1 toilet. THE RR facility was a typical state park style but I expected more cleanliness with workers on site each day I was there. The smaller RR facility is a converted (what appears to be) horse trailer. Of the 2 showers 1 was to dark to use & was dirty as well as 1 of the 2 toilets. There are paved surfaces around most of paradise cove so it's a good area to ride bikes, golf carts, or walk.
My wife and I stayed here with our dog for the weekend. We had a rainy Saturday, so we were not able to check out the lake activities. The kasita was very clean and quiet during the night. The park was only about half full during our stay so it was very quiet. The outdoor sink, charcoal grill and fire pit worked great.
The bathrooms/shower trailer were ok, but are clearly aging and towards the end of their useful life. They were clean and well kept, but lots of rust spots were water pools.
We will definitely be back this summer.
Don't expect secure but can expect
I wanted to stay here so I would have a safe place to leave my belongings while playing on the lake but there are NO locks, can't even lock up while sleeping. No fault of the host that the lake was up and not accessible when we came but I did ask if we could dock our boat at waters edge and never got a direct answer. I would have been more pleased had I been told upfront that only hipoint ramp was open and backed up. Cabin was cute and clean but I doubt I will return.
Paradise on Lake Texoma was easily accessible off the main road, close to town but far enough away and has a killer view of the sunset. I stayed here Mid August and this was my personal experience staying there:
I was greeted by the office ladies and they were super sweet and very helpful. I was given a map, a caboodle basket that had thoughtful products in a clear bag that was worth $20 if you opened it or used one item in it (I set this aside) and then found my way to my cabin (#13) . It looked just like the picture. Cute, adorable, AC unit and overlooked the lake.
The outdoor kitchen area would have been nice to utilize but the fly situation was so ridiculous. I opened my car and somehow 15 flies were already buzzing around inside it. Nearly impossible to get them out. This happened every time I opened my car.
The bathroom/shower area was a scorching metal box on wheels that was HOT and rusty. I would have preferred to just squat but there wasn't a private area to do that away from people. I didn't shower. *I would LOVE to have had an outdoor shower area! Maybe that could be an addition to the property?*
The sliding door on the cabin does not lock. Being a solo traveling female, I felt hesitant about this as it is not prefaced at the front office or before you make a payment to stay there. So, I went and found a stick long enough and sturdy enough to act as a "lock" to the sliding door.
There were loud gun shots being fired across the way as well during sun down.
The water is easily accessible which is nice to cool off in.
Overall, I would not stay here again. Hindsight. Had I known, I would have rather stayed at Eisenhower SP and slept in my tent. I would say for $90/night you're paying for the AC and a cute Instagram post.
