Hands down the best!!!
What a lovely place!!!! The host was super friendly and went out of her way to provide towels, homemade lavender soap and body wash. The hut is well organized and the linens were clean and fresh. Her decor was super cute. There’s an outdoor solar shower that has hot water, not far is a REAL bathroom with running water and toilet. Bonus: there an air conditioner in the tent which works well. We woke up to a 57 degree tent!!!! YESSSS!!!
We had no problems with bugs and this place is very easy to get to.
The host makes Mead and we did a tasting of all the different wines they make. She also provided a small ice chest for my son and I with ice, water, and cola that they also make and lavender cookies. My son loved it. WiFi service is available, but for some reason it wouldn’t work on our phones, however that didn’t take away from the experience at all. This tent is right on side of a lavender field. It smells amazing! We got up around 6 am and the smell of lavender going to the rest room was so lovely. They also have chickens too which are super cute. I was the third person that has stayed in the tent. And I highly recommend it. I hope to be back again.
Thank you , thank you , thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at Happy Bear Meadery and Lotus Belle. From the moment we got out of the car the scent of lavendar was very therapeutic. The gardens were beautiful and the property was very well cared for. The tent was amazing, fun and funky. We had a great family adventure. The hosts were so sweet and very accommodating. We enjoyed the covered pavilion for grilling steaks at sunset over the cotton fields. The bed was comfortable , didn’t feel like I was camping. The tent was perfect. We loved the vibes. My daughter said it was the best place she had stayed.
The mead and soda tasting was delicious and informative. They also ship in Texas… so we will be ordering more.
We highly recommend!!
Wow wow wow! In complete honesty, this was probably my best experience staying at a Hipcamp, Airbnb, etc. I've ever had. Totally blown away. And I promise I didn't know Ted before staying... Haha.
Ted was very communicative right from the beginning and stayed available/hospitable throughout our time. He really did go above and beyond to accommodate us. I didn't realize that they also make mead, so it was a pleasant surprise to get to do a tasting only feet from our tent. (Couldn't help buying a bottle.)
The tent itself was fantastic. It was a little warm even with the AC, but enough to take the edge off and the best it's going to get outside of just staying inside altogether.
The property is gorgeous; beautiful fields and great sunsets.
