This place is a dream. Fantastic grounds, wonderful owners, close to Garner and Lost Maples parks, and it has some nice hikes within the property. Everything in there is cool: the outdoor kitchen, the bathrooms, the communal fire pit, and every single detail. I think that Woody is an artist, and it shows. My husband and I came with our small camper (we got the "first RV campers" badge! ;-)) and we had a super relax time. No RV hookups but that's how we like it, although in the future they might have. Our campsite had a perfect view of sunrise, and we walked to a place with a perfect sunset view. Oh, and the stars! Amazing star sighting. We walked around and it seems that each and every campsite is perfect. We are already planning our next trip. Seco Ridge actually inspired us to plan on going camping every other weekend (as soon as our daughter finishes her basketball league that it is.) That's how much in love we fell with the place.

Woody's made an awesome communal camping experience close to both Garner and Lost Maples State Parks. The area is beautiful and this place is right on top of the hill. Definitely a must-stay for anyone looking to make new camping buddies.

Thanks so much! Ya'll are our first review. It was great meeting you and your wonder dog Tommy :)
We were the first people to camp in the primitive sites and it was so awesome! Woody is super nice and a great host—he even helped us unload and transport our stuff to the site. The whole property is very cool and quiet (except for the goat dogs barking at night). It was so nice to get away from all the noise and to walk around the woods in the moonlight. I wish we could have stayed longer!
Woody is working on more stuff every day and I can’t wait to see what it’s going to be like the next time we go stay out there. Really like the community area with the music and the campfire. So many hammocks too!

Hi! It was great having you guys over! Just wait, next time we are going to have a large primitive camp spot on the other side of the hill (away from goat dogs but still dog friendly for you). You guys are our kind of camper :)
Amazing place to stay! Woody is a great host! I would recommend staying here and then going to Garner and Lost Maples State park. You get a homey communal vibe that you can't get camping else where.

Thanks for being the first to stay at our new primitive site #5. It was great having ya'll over!
If you are seeking seclusion and a quiet getaway in nature then look no further. Site #5 is a primitive site that is private and tucked away from the more communal style camping sites that is offered on this property. There is an outhouse, picnic table, tire swing, and a clear covered utility trailer with a charming twin bed for star gazing. There is a fire ring for cooking with a grill and a clever, tall metal cover with holes (seen in the pictures) for your actual campfire. There is no need to bring any firewood, Woody has plenty. Woody makes you feel welcomed and reassures you if you need anything to just give him a holler. Wonderful experience, we plan on returning!

Thanks so much! It was great having ya'll over. We are going to keep working on that site and are going to add another one closer to the front as well.
Woody was kind and ready to welcome us when we arrived. He guided us to our site because it was mostly dark. The common area was helpful with warm running water.
Thanks for a great Valentine's weekend!

Glad ya’ll enjoyed it, come back and see us soon! Woody
Such a beautiful campground! Woody was very kind and available to meet all of your needs. He provided us with the directions that we needed to arrive. Super personable and helpful! Would love to come back and stay another time soon!

Thanks ya'll! Travel safe!
Woody is great, we both instantly felt welcome at the campsite. The accommodations went above and beyond, the bathrooms were everything we needed, and the shared fire pit provided an open community feeling for the campsite. The individual campsites were a quiet refuge when we needed it. Our two person tent was ideal for the pad!
Thanks again, Woody!
We loved camping here, Woody was very accommodating to our 120 pound dog w a little bit of anxiety. We arrived late and he helped us taking all of our things to our campsite and went above and beyond at making us feel welcomed ! Super closer to garner state park, and awesome vibes. Will definitely be back soon ! Thanks again !!
