So much fun to stay in the glamping cargo tent! Fairly isolated spot with clean, tiled restrooms. Most campsites had an unusual twist - a cargo trailer with hammocks, flatbed of a truck with a mattress, an air conditioned storage container, etc.... Although I would recommend camping at a cooler time of the year, two fans were provided with a solar charger and mosquito netting surrounded the bed. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby town of Utopia - especially since we had recently watched the movie filmed there, "7 days in Utopia."

We stayed at Woody’s glamp tent. It was wonderful, the bed was very comfortable. They added a fold up bed for my son. The camp ground was well set up with two clean and new restrooms that also have showers. The water pressure and hot water temp were great! They have an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, which we used to cook breakfast and dinner. They have chickens that lay fresh eggs that are kept in the outdoor fridge for guests to use. Fresh eggs are yummy! The tent sites are well separated, so lots of privacy. Woody and Elaine were very attentive and friendly, all the questions were answered promptly and Woody helped us start our fire pit. The fridge had marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate that guests are free to use. There is no need to bring your own firewood, buy them from Woody for about $5 a bundle. The campground also has charcoal grills throughout the common area. There is one gas grill in the outdoor kitchen, two hot plates, a coffee maker and a pot to boil water. Wonderful experience with great service! Their suggested activities were great! We did horseback riding, tubing and went wine tasting.

The glamping tent was excellent! Clean, with a large comfortable bed and private yard area with fire pit, grill, chairs and tire swing. The common areas and amenities were also nice - hot shower, clean bathroom, and a small outdoor kitchen with two hot plates and a refrigerator. The campground was easy to find and access from Utopia. The only downside was the noise, from the creaking of the tent due to the wind to some animal sounds (to be expected in nature!), so maybe consider bringing a pair of earplugs! Overall, a wonderful getaway and would definitely recommend.

We had a great time! Everything was clean, convenient and the hosts were so friendly. We came to the camp late in the night and the hosts were there waiting for us to make sure we got to the site okay. Even after we left they reached out to me because the next set of campers found jewelry and they wanted to make sure it wasn't mine. The tent was super cute and so were the campgrounds. We loved the goats! Do be aware if you're sensitive to noise. It was pretty windy when we were falling asleep and we kept hearing creaking from the canvas.
Nonetheless will be a trip I never forget. I was actually proposed to on top of Mt. Baldy. Which is only a short drive away!

Had to use the complimentary wood provided for smores!Lots of swings for silly pictures!Rented kayaks nearbyThe flower garden they had was the perfect backdrop!!

What is higher than 5 stars?

If I could give Woody and his wife higher than 5 stars then I would. Where do I even begin? This was my family's 1st camping trip. Myself my wife and my 2 daughters 6 and 4. This could've easily been make or break as far as them wanting to do camping for the foreseeable future. Let me just say this. It was a MAKE for them. We will be coming here yearly 100% without a doubt in my mind.
the service and level of care that they give is just incredible. They are so hands on OR as had off as YOU want them to be. I spoke with them many times through messenger before I came and they made sure that my little girls had the time of their lives feeding the goats and the donkeys. EVERYTHING is clean. Top notch level clean. What is impressive is that they have a level for every camper. If you want RAW camping then they can offer you that, If you want to Glamp you camping (check!), and then if you even want to take it up a few more notches they have even more very cool camping options but they are all still in the SPIRIT of camping. What I LOVED is communication. They genuinely CARE about what they do and it shows. My family and I had such a great time we went during Spring Break and will probably come again at some point during May - the summer and then from there make it a yearly experience. We have found our place and it is such an honor to have met them and to have stayed here. YES, I know I am paying for there but it's just the level of CARE that makes it exceptional. 5 stars hands down.

Love the photos, that's a good-looking family there! Thank you so much for the kind words - it was great to host you guys. We have been camping all over Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming ourselves and love to bring the joy of camping to others. Nature is a great place to hit the reset button, find pause, and recharge. You guys are a fun family! Hope to see you again real soon! W.

One of a kind experience. Woody and Eliane, laid back folks sharing Texas history with a native Texan. So enjoyable of an experience. We got to see baby goat being born that same day we were there.

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and the place was incredible! The private campgrounds felt so serene and and remote, but had all the amenities you could ask for. The kitchen and shower area were perfect and very nearby our campsite. We loved walking the trails with our dog. At night we made a fire and sat and talked about how much we loved each other and can't wait to come back and relax here again.

This campground is lovely. Amenities were clean and functioning. We stayed in the glamping tent for our stay and loved it. We went to come back once the weather warms up a bit to stay in one of the campground sites. I highly recommend this spot!
