Split Creek Woods was a really neat piece of property! I loved exploring the land and getting to choose a very quiet, secluded and safe feeling spot under the trees to put up my tent. I heard tons of animal noises, which I really enjoyed! The creek and woods were gorgeous, and the land was really easy to get to. Unfortunately, I had a really terrible time trying to sleep due to highway and train noises. I can tend to be sensitive to noise... however, I didn’t mind these sounds during the day, but the whirring of semi-trucks climbing over and over canceled out any chance at fading away into white noise. I was bummed because I otherwise had such a wonderful stay!
