We're happy that we can open up our land for campers. Before booking please read the following information and site descriptions. We operate a pecan tree nursery and Pecan Orchard. On the south side of the farmhouse is a 80-year-old huge pecan tree. You can enjoy wooded walking paths in the 90-acre forest and pastures, ponds and wildlife, including deer, wild hogs, hawks, owls, roadrunners, doves, cardinals, jays, woodpeckers, mockingbirds, and many other species of birds. Small mammals such as armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels are often seen, and the property is also awesome for stargazing. Please watch out for snakes, scorpions, pesky mosquitoes and ticks. This land has been a huge blessing to us and we hope you will enjoy your stay here. Arrival time should be no later than 9pm. Please inquire before booking if your arrival time might be later. Site 5 - Sandy Ridge Camping

Awesome place to catch the eclipse

Ingrid and Cody are very gracious hosts, and their property is lovely. Note that we actually ended up in Site 4 due to someone else cancelling. Spots are large and well spaced, so it feels really private and secluded. They have a few outhouse style bathrooms (one with a shower). It's worth buying some fresh pecans while you are there to bring home. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again if we are in the area.

We loved the pecan ranch! Our spot was secluded and beautiful. And a nice hot shower in the morning was icing on the cake!

Site 4 - Sandy Ridge Camping

Ingrid was very kind and her & Cody's land is beautiful. Campsites are private and the driveway was well maintained. Firewood and pecans for purchase onsite are an extra bonus and would recommend!
