We had an excellent time at Michael’s ranch :) it was well-kept and facilities were excellent. You may hear other campers at other sites faintly, but it’s about as private as a state or county park might be. We booked pretty last minute with Michael, but he was accommodating. For future campers, I would suggest getting your directions and everything you need from Michael sorted before you leave the city, as your cell service may be spotty.
Amazing. thoughtful. great sites!
This place is amazing - everything from the campsites (we stayed in A) to the trails to communication leading up to our stay was so thoughtful and great! Mike is a friendly host who met us upon arrival and answered quickly with any communication beforehand.
We were the only ones on site this weekend so got to explore around (all sites looks great - B by the pond, A and C off to each side - all close enough to the well-maintained privy and all secluded enough too). The trail goes around the property and is an easy hike with our 2 dogs. It was also exciting to see how thoughtful pieces of this place were and kind of see future projects that may happen. We definitely want to come back to camp here (at any of the sites) again.
If I could think of more synonyms for amazing I would - this place is amazing!!
Michael’s ranch was as quaint and creative as we had hoped. We arrived late from a long day and Michael was very accommodating as our plans changed. My husband and I stayed on one of the primitive sites and it was perfectly nestled from his other glamping sites. We love to cook and it was so perfectly simple with trails that led to the privy and the water source where we could do our dishes. Michael greeted us Saturday am. He was a great host and very accommodating when we wanted to stay a second night and with great response time when we had questions about biking and shopping. He has taken great pride in making his ranch a place that merges nature and simple living artistically together. I would definitely return.
Michael was a great host, available as we arrived to help get us settled, checked on us just enough throughout our time there. He has a very nice property and is doing some terrific work developing it to be a top notch experience. Sites are each private and close to parking area. Had a nice stay and would definitely stay again.
This is great camping spot, me my wife and 2 kids (under 3) had a blast . I am definitely going back. Host were great, greeted us in the entrance and showed us the parking and campsite.
Cool little spot. Everything was kept up really nice and the hosts were great. The bathroom/privy was a nice touch. Not as "out in the wild" as I would have liked, but was pretty much the same thing as going to a State or County park.
