We had a great time! This location is perfect. It’s quiet, secluded, and has brilliant views of the stars. The host is responsive and helpful, and we had a wonderful experience! We will definitely stay here again.

Solid spot, quiet, easy access to the river, covered by pecan trees (although they were bare this trip due to the snowpocalypse). It is close to a road but it's not heavily used, just an fyi.

Would stay again.

This area is beautiful, it was perfect for a getaway from the city! It is definitely hard to locate the entrance, we had to call Jason and get more directions than the listing had- but I believe he is working on getting better signage. If you’re coming from the east, the driveway/red gate is on your left before the San Saba river crossing. It was mostly quiet and peaceful & the river is awesome to have right next to the campsite on a hot day.
