My daughter, Chancie, and I have a working, grass-fed beef cattle ranch w/ abundant wildlife, 30+ mile views from our mesa and a myriad of hiking trails through our ravine. In addition to our clean, nutrient dense beef, we offer free-range chicken eggs, raw goat milk, cheese & seasonally vine ripe veggies, jams and chocolate zucchini bread at our on-site Country Store! Chancie also tends to our remuda of horses & provides horseback ranch tours at $50 per horse/hr. For inexperienced riders there's a $15 'Stopping and Steering' lesson in the working pen prior to the tour. Younger riders can ride in the 2 acre barnyard & working pens at a discounted rate. To reserve horses contact Chancie at 3073314327 for scheduling.  Our menagerie of cattle, horses, goats, chickens and stock dogs provide plenty of opportunities to pick a favorite of all the curious souls that call this place home. We also offer ATV rentals to make the outdoors accessible to everyone! There's so much more to experience here than just the views. If possible allow some daylight time for exploring and grilling out before settling down with your campfire under an amazing, brilliant, star or moon lit, night sky being serenaded by the coyotes. Very well organized. Property was easy to find. There was a welcome kit with information available. I left early in the morning and so did not have a chance to meet the host.

Great place for tent camping. Feels very private and safe with beautiful land all around you. Had a small table and fire ring on site which was a very nice. Sky was beautiful at night and the host was very responsive.

I’ve tried to go back because I wanted to give a very positive review!! I appreciate all you’ve done for your community and also for guest. It was perfect. I couldn’t figure out where the store was located - according to map thought it was right off the road! I would have love to visit it!
And sharing y’all’s story was wonderful!!

Our Fourth time out and it keeps getting better and better. My daughter loves the horses and the lessons that they give. This was our first time renting quads and wow, they did not disappoint! We went into back country and got pretty muddy but had a blast. Enjoyed all the coyotes at night! Tranquil and it just makes you feel at one with nature.

Fun time on the quads! Plenty of elbow room, Peace and quietOut for a walk with Duke!

Lana was super responsive and made everything about our stay easy. I tried to book the ‘most convenient spot’ while on a long trip with kiddos, pulling in late. The property is a quick trip from I-40, easy to find and access. Loved everything about our very quiet stay!

I loved that it was truly remote and private. Lana's instructions were very useful and helped us get to the right place. There was a little confusion as we came in late and she had someone else watching the store for her, so we didn't connect in person, but it all worked out in the end. One thing that could improve the experience for campers would be marking the sites on the land a little better and making sure maps were available at the gate. We fumbled a little not knowing where we were headed in the dark. But when the morning sun came up we got to walk around the perimeter and see the beautiful land at the mesa. It was wonderful. We left with a lot of red dirt dust on our shoes and gear and tons of photos!!
