Park your self-contained RV on our 90 acre ranch and take in beautiful views of the river valley and even the city lights of Austin in the distance! With over 4 miles of hiking trails, this property feels more like a state park and should be enjoyed by all! Wildlife abounds in the highland area and the river bottom near the lower Colorado River. Because of the geological formations within the Colorado River, the current has also created several outstanding bass fishing holes. We're also right across the road from the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort, if you're looking for a little pampering after you rough it off the grid on our slice of paradise.

Austin’s best kept secret!
I cannot say enough great things about this place! I can think of nowhere else in Texas where you get an entire 90 acres to yourself! The host, Regis, is extremely laid back and truly gives you free reins on the place! The only rule was to stay away from the house, which you couldn’t even get to unless you opened gates and went through them. It was awesome knowing that we could drive onto the property and camp literally wherever we like anywhere on the 90 acres. The only person we saw the entire time was Regis, and that was only when we first arrived. If you are looking for a truly primitive camping experience where you get more than your tiny cubicle at a campground, this is your spot! The dogs loved the access to the Colorado river, and they were lots of trails to drive the jeep on. I am reluctant to try other campsites on this app, because I think we found the perfect one already.
Seluded break from the city
My husband and I were looking for a spot that was close enough to Austin but a break from the city. Regis's land is gorgeous with tons of space to go for walks including down to the Colorado River.
Regis was very accommodating and gave us plenty of space and even extended an offer to grab free eggs from his hens whenever we'd like.
One important note: The bridge that you need to cross to access the property is super tight. We definitely needed a spotter with our 30 ft trailer.
We got a couple bars of T-Mobile and Verizon on the "runway" (the highpoint of the property), but found that the area near the river has the fastest service. The road to the river area was a bit gnarly for our big rig but I would have loved to camp in that spot if I was in a van.
