Pork Chop Point
Secluded Camping Spot
If you are looking for a secluded camping spot, this is a great one. You have the space all to yourself tucked in the trees, so you don't see anyone. The area had been cleared so no tall grass. True dispersed camping, build your fire ring, bring your own essentials, you're on your own--perfect! If you are looking for hiking and a river, may not be for you, (Cleburne state park is near by) but if you want to camp outside and enjoy the peace and quiet, its great! Plus if you like farm animals, they have quite a few to view. The horses came to visit at sunset, hung out for a bit before moving on. The only issue I had was their dogs were doing what dogs on the farm do, protect the animals--I heard them throughout the night barking and running off critters, but that's to be expected. Overall, great, will go back!

Pork Chop Point
We had a very memorable experience being fully immersed in the animals habitat. Pigs (and piglets!!!), Goats, massive dogs, and Arabian horses, it was all a sensory explosion! Rebecca and family were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the local state park.

5 stars, definitely going back!
Had a great time camping here with my son. We loved the animals, and had fun exploring. He loves rocks so we spent most of our time in the creek bed trying to find the best ones.

Pork Chop Point
Wide open spaces!
Rebecca and Jacob were incredible hosts! Pork chop point is a beautiful and wide open property, with so many different places to set up your camp. Jacob toured us around and showed us several spots before we settled on our favorite. The campsites were great, but the most fun part for us was meeting and learning about all the animals the farm has to offer—namely the heritage pigs! Make sure to stop by to give them a treat or ask to see their tricks! We will be back to this quiet and secluded spot. :)
