Excellent place with well-maintained camping Area.
Plenty of space to set up telescope equipment. Very nearly 360° viewing. I do a lot of astrophotography here. It’s a bortel 2 zone.
Great people and a great campsite!
Loved camping here! The hosts were excellent and the campsite was perfect, we camped at the top of the hill and the views were excellent! Would not hesitate to camp here again, in fact we are planning on it next year for sure!

My only regret is that I have but one upvote to give. I plan on staying there more regularly. I do astrophotography and it’s a really nice location. The people are really nice as well. 11 out of 10!

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful in getting to the location. Visited for stargazing and it was absolutely incredible.

I only stayed for one night but would definitely come back if I was in the area! Tom met me at the gate with his cute dog Max and they showed me the way to site 3, which is super secluded on a hilltop with a great sunset view. Tom even came back to drop off a telescope for stargazing and offered to bring up supplies for s’mores. You can’t beat the hospitality, and it was great to have a completely private spot for the night. Polly was also extremely responsive to my messages and the directions were easy to follow.
Had an amazing time here, very secluded and clear skies make for an unforgettable experience! Milky Way was out in its full glory. Owners were really helpful with getting to the camping spot and even received some s’mores! Great time definitely coming back!

We had a lovely overnighter at this gorgeous piece of Hill Country property.
The previous reviews left no doubt it would be the right type of campsite for us.
On top of the hill site #3, with upon entry indeed smores ingredients and a telescoop to boot! We missed out on the stars, cos we entered a stormy night, but the smores were yummy!
We'll definitely be back when we do another back road jeep trip out there!
