Our site was amazing. It was a little drive back to help seclude you even more. Standing on the ridge you can see down to the Guadalupe River! There was even a path down to it.
We pitched a tent and it was like home. There was a barrel for trash (bring your own liner), a picnic table, several little stakes to hang things from, along with a small pit that had a grate. And a rake and shovel were provided for any additional assistance clearing the campground.
Excellent spot with tons of trees. It wasn’t always shaded but that was okay! It was perfect for hanging out clothes from a dip in the river. Bring your own rope.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for a weekend getaway.
And if you forgot something, no worries, there is an ice house and a Dollar General right up the way! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Naturally beautiful primitive camping with the entire river front to ourselves. Davinia checked in multiple times with tips before the stay. Wood and a fire pit were provided along with a picnic table, fish cleaning station, and super clean land. Kayaks were easy to pull down to the river and paddle around, even with the moving water, and fishing was good…just make sure your line weight is strong. Just to say, I wasn’t ready to go home after this weekend!

This is our second visit and it was as amazing as the first! We always enjoy site 1 and the amazing shade and breeze at camp. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing couple days in nature.
The host were awesome, there was a wind storm later that week and they worked really hard to get the campsite ready for us. They brought us right down to the site and made sure that we had everything we needed. Had a wonderful time, lots of shade, and lots of flat ground to camp. Little walk down to the water, River was nice and cool a wonderful spot to swim. Would highly recommend camping here, the site is nice and secluded. Great fire ring and cooking setup.
Absolutely perfect… if you are looking for a beautiful place to get in touch with nature, I highly recommended visiting this Hipcamp. The host are very friendly and lead you to your campsite, then you are left to enjoy their little slice of heaven! The views of the river from camp are so calming, the site is very well kept, the tree canopy kept out the harsh June sun and the breeze off the water felt so nice. (Just in case you need to know, the canopy is tall enough to fit a roof top tent under easily) We had a blast playing in the river with our kids, it brought back wonderful childhood memories of me with my parents on the river in New Braunfels, minus having to share it with all of the other crazy tubers! This place in absolutely perfect in my book and I very much look forward to going back soon!
Beautiful property. Very secluded and private!! Campsite is under the trees with a picnic table, trash barrel and fire pit with a moveable grate over it. Plenty of space. To the right of the campsite there is a sandy pathway down the the water with a rocky beach. It was great to be able to go hang out in the after on a hot Texas day and take the east walk back up to the campsite. If you have cots or something off the ground you could easily camp on the rocky beach on the water (suggest the upstream-side of the beach, it’s larger and way less critters/flies than the downstream side). It’s part of the Guadalupe but it’s so far downstream from the mainstream Guadalupe that you will not see anyone floating down, so even the river part of the site is secluded and private. The site is on a cattle ranch, although you are instructed not to pet them it is fun to drive through the site and check them out, almost like a mini safari ride 😂. We loved it, we will be back for sure!! Thank you!!

We absolutely loved the private camping experience. We enjoyed a private sand bar and swam in the river. The amenities were awesome and the fire pits were above and beyond awesome. Loved the grill on top and it was well used. We can’t wait to come back.

Stayed in campsite 3 . Loved it ! Plenty of shade and slight walk down to the river . I saw gar and catfish at night with a flashlight . I felt like I was the only person in the world . No cars or sirens just a passing plane every now and then . The host made sure I had everything I needed . I will come back
