This place is as safe as it gets for car/van camping. It is located conveniently to hill country & downtown Austin. The showers/restrooms/laundry and well designed, close by and very very clean. The location is quiet!
Honestly, I wish there was one of these almost everywhere when I need a spot to park for the night or longer in TX.

I loved camping here! Quiet spot with clean showers, bathrooms, and laundry. I’ve been travelling from the West coast and this site is one of the best. Definitely recommend.

A perfect camping place for vanlifers. Great host! This spot is outstanding, well manicured, comfortable, all the basic amenities available, close to town. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay ,and the ability to feel like we actually belonged somewhere that catered to us and the vanlife. The showers were hot and amazing and the washer and dryer were super efficient and modern. The outside plugs and water access were a great addition, plus there was seating and tables! Staying here was a refreshing and peaceful experience and I can't wait to do it again ASAP. The host Shawn was super communicative without being annoyingly present lol.

Amazing experience and a genius idea.

This place is perfect for my needs. Close to BBQ, hiking, disc golf, some of the best breweries in Texas and if you have to Austin. Simply pull in plug in and enjoy! Shawn was super helpful and has even more things in store.

I loved this place! It's spoiled me for all future hipcamps. The owner is a really nice guy who has clearly put a lot of thought into the camp, and he shared with me some of his ideas to keep improving it. But it's got just about all you need. Electric, water(non potable), and showers with an awesome room heater so you don't get out cold! Also, a washer and dryer to clean up the clothes. the fact that the lots are right off the road was really convenient for me as I could just pull in and out when I went downtown (about 15-20 mins away) without worrying about disturbing the owner, like I have with other hipcamps I've stayed at. Really loved my time,and hope to find more camps like this in my travels. Will definitely be back next time in Austin.

Perfect spot for working and camping.... Private but close to things. Worked with me when last minute work became available and had to leave. Transfered my extra time, no questions asked...

The area was very nice and clean. Bathrooms were great and so was the shower. Slept well but by 6am there were constantly cars driving on the street. Surprisingly quiet for the location but not as quiet as other reviews made it seem. All in all was a great place for a us to spend the night.
