Situated 5 miles east of the Big Bend Ranch state park, there is easy access to Terlingua, Lajitas, Big Bend National, and State parks. The mountain range directly north of the property was home to the very first silver, copper, lead, and quicksilver mines in the region. The mountain range directly north of the property was home to the very first silver, copper, lead, and quicksilver mines in the region. A passage used by the nomadic tribe as they would move into Mexico in search of game. The campsites branch off of two main trails into the natural flora of the area, and are raked and level. Each has a small fire pit and is generously spaced from others lending some privacy. Views of different mountain ranges are in every direction. Short warm up hikes can be enjoyed on the mesa across the road. The views from the top are breathtaking!Come enjoy our space with us! Watch the dessert critters, marvel at the geological diversity, or kick back and do some stargazing with the ocotillo as a backdrop!

Wonderful location located close to Terlingua for any needs, the campsite was very remote and the communal areas were clean. We had a great time at this spot. I would recommend if you want something a bit more private than in the National/State park.
Secluded, accommodating, & fire pit
We were on our way to the state park with two kids and well, our ten hour drive turned into fourteen and we were not going to make in there before the park closed. I found Croesus Canyon Walk-in Camps and booked for that evening. It was everything we were looking for and some. There was plenty of space from other campers (even on Spring Break weekend), we found a very secluded walk-in camp less than 3/4 mile from our car (we don't typically car camp but there were drive-in sites as well as sites closer to parking available). The bathroom was impeccable, very clean and a sink in the desert felt like a miracle. Brandon was very friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a wind storm the first night so we were not able to have a fire but the second night we bought a bundle of wood from Brandon and had plenty of nearby kindling to get us through the evening. During the day we drove in to Big Bend National Park (about an hour) and visited the town of Terlingua for rocks, food and live music. I felt that our camp was safe and accommodating! This was an amazing trip and we will be back to Big Bend and to Croesus Canyon Camps!
Brandon was awesome. It’s a cool spot, easy to get to, and the stars were beautiful. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
The site hosts were phenomenal, and the dogs were amazing ambassadors!
The bathroom was kept so clean for the guests.
We look forward to returning in the future.

My second time here and will return for sure! I love the solitude and Branson is very helpful and friendly!
Beautiful place to camp and Brandon was very kind and helpful! Incredible night skies and the other campers were friendly. Would stay here again if I'm in the area again.
Great tent camping spot with a clean toilet and running water available a short walk away - beautiful views, clean sites! Brandon was great - Croesus was easy to get to. When we arrived we left Brandon a voicemail and picked a spot ourselves, introduced ourselves later on when he was back. Camped with two dogs out here, definitely keep on leash due to steep drop near sites. Awesome spot if you're looking for a taste of a little bit of primitive camping but not wanting to take the dive into no running water just yet!
Thanks for the stay Brandon!
Peaceful, quiet desert (re)treat!!!
Brandon was super friendly and knowledgeable of the area! The property was awesome- great to explore and relax! Saw lots of cool cactus, geology, and fossils! It isn’t too far from Terlingua but you get some nice solitude. Can’t wait to get back there!
