Pitch your own tent at one of our camp sites on 28 acres in the Texas Hill Country near Wimberley, Texas. Little Haven is an official "Wildlife Preserve" with a focus on song birds, owls, hawks, wild turkey, and deer. Heavily wooded land with varied terrain and three miles of trails. Besides chickens and quail, we also have five goats that are very social. You can hang out with the goats any time you want. They're fun to watch.
We have three official camp sites. They are all very private, and are about 50 yards from your parking space and the bathroom. Site 1 is in a meadow with a big sky view. Site 2 is on a bluff with long views toward the southwest horizon.
Wimberley is a great destination to get away to. We have something to do year round. When the weather is hot, go swimming in the Blanco River, or visit one of the famous swimming holes on the Cypress Creek...Blue Hole or Jacob's Well. There are several wineries, a rum distillery, and an olive orchard within a few miles of town. The square is a great place to shop, eat, and people watch. Just a few miles down the road is Wimberley Glass Works, where you can watch glass being hand blown.

Hill country oasis
Clark and Lora are as kind as you can get. And their property is beyond beautiful. Highly recommend!
The myriad of animals were entertaining and adorable.
The site was spotless and had terrific amenities. The bathroom (beautiful, by the way) is just a short walk away.
Can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful and restful little haven
Clark and Lora’s place was beautiful, clean, private, and indeed and restful little haven!
Clark and Lora were very friendly and helpful, could not have asked for better hosts.
We will definitely be back!
Second time around
This was our second time camping out at Little Haven but the first time we took my stepkids and they absolutely loved it! Bought walkie talkies so the kids could explore and still keep in contact with us and they had a blast. Can't wait to come back this summer.
Truly a haven in the hill country!
We absolutely loved our stay at Little Haven! The property was beautiful and the campsite perfect. It offered lots of privacy and it truly felt like a haven away from the big city. Clark and Lora were friendly and welcoming! Our favorite part was the cute goats and the sweetest dogs that would follow our little one around! Our family had a wonderful time...relaxing, exploring the trails and just spending time together. The campsite has all that you need, including your own fire pit, comfortable chairs, and a picnic table. I highly recommend “Little Haven”! We can’t wait to come back!
Hill country ideal camping
Fantastic camp site, hosts, and animals! Everything about this experience camping in the Texas Hill Country was spot-on as expected, and as described by hosts. Would high recommend and hope to be back soon!
Clark and Lora were very hospitable. Site was not far from the bathroom or hosts house but felt secluded with all the cedar trees surrounding my site. Site was very well maintained, supplied with a fire ring, picnic table w/umbrella and even some cooking utensils.
Absolutely loved it!
We absolutely loved staying with Clark and Lora! We stayed in campsite 3, very private, and roomy but still close enough to the shared bathroom. The fire pit and grate were very useful on our first night and made for an amazingly warm fire and meals. The bathroom was spotless and had plenty of hot water. We went hiking around the beautiful property and found some great views. The goats were fun and super playful and one of their dogs, Shyla, even came to snuggle with us in our tent! We traveled up to Dripping Springs and explored Pedernales Falls, Family Company Brewery and Jacobs Well was just a short drive up the road and finished our weekend shopping downtown Wimberley. We will definitely be back to stay!
