Cozy and convenient.
A great spot to get away from the city. Cozy with conveniences. Host is thoughtful and helpful in making sure campers have everything they may need to make their stay enjoyable.
I went when the weather was rainy one night, cold the next. The tent set up area stayed dry and having extra blankets the next kept me toasty and cozy.
Would visit again when I need a getaway from the city.
I would without a doubt recommend staying here!. Super personal since it is just the one spot but also able to get the full experience. The amenities offered were super clean and Connor even gave us a quick run down which we very much appreciated. Everything was as advertised if not better and the experience was one to remember
Disconnect and relax
The set up was ideal for a quick weekend trip to disconnect from the work life. The camp site offers a covered tent area, a fire ring and grill, a picnic table, a sink/shower, and bathrooms. If you need supplies there are stores a short drive away. I would definitely book again. It was awesome seeing the Lilly pad flowers open up at night.
Lots of nice conveniences
There's a lot to like about this camp site.
1. There is only one site so no other campers to share space with
2. Sink and hose makes washings and teeth brushings easier
3. Covered spot surrounded by trees to pitch a tent with relatively even ground is comfortable and protects from elements.
4. Functional composting toilet was clean
5. First set of firewood provided by host
6. Have electricity to charge devices and whatnots
Things to note for those who wants to escape the city and hear only nature sounds:
1. Site is near a road so you will hear traffic noises
2. There is a small pond and the "water fountain" comes on every 3 hours or so through out day and night and it could be a bit noisy for the light sleepers.
