We enjoyed the privacy of the site....only sharing it with a bunch of mosquitoes! But bring your deet and you're good to go! The canal access made for a quiet sunset and the close proximity to the beach made it easy to plan my day in the sand!
Private and peaceful! good wifi!
We made a last- minute reservation and got a prompt response from Justin. The site was easy to find and located ideally between Port Bolivar and Gilchrist, and just far enough to be out of the Crystal Beach crowds. By the time we made the reservation, the only spot left was on grass, but we had power, water and sewer. The sites are somewhat compact in length , and even though we had a small teardrop camper, we had to unhook. Usually with the size of our rig, we can stay connected if we like. All the hookups were fine, and the WiFi was strong enough to stream shows on my phone. Two things to note- the mosquitoes were bad, , but expected-bring spray-also, the sticker burrs were numerous in the grass. There’s not too much anyone can do about that- the grass was neat and well kept. We would stay here again!
