The Glamping Goatel on the Bayou

Welcome to The Glamping Goatel on the Chocolate Bayou. This waterfront oasis is what glamping dreams are made of. Listen to the fish jump out of the water, the Texas Long-horned cattle graze in the fields across the bayou or just the sound of baby goats playing in the background. We are a vacation destination that is focused on improving your mental health. Each night stay includes a Goat Happy Hour Experience with an option to upgrade to Goat Yoga. The bell-tent sleeps up to 6 comfortably.

Our Glamping Goatel has an elegant Boho design with big fluffy pillows and plush blankets to make your stay comfortable. The space is large, bright and airy and looks out over the Chocolate Bayou. Sit on the deck and read, write, fish or wander the shoreline with the baby goats in tow.

Hosts live on-site and are available to help make a bon-fire or assist with fishing gear or other needs.

We are conveniently located between Houston and Galveston.

We live less than a mile from a popular bird sanctuary. You can wake up in the morning and grab a cup of coffee and go for a leisurely hike in nature or schedule your Goat Happy Hour Experience and spend time with goats.
