Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Our purpose is to offer you different accommodation options, so that you can live with your family and friends the experience of enjoying an unforgettable vacation in absolute comfort; without missing anything. You will find all sorts of ways to commune with nature at Lake Bastrop North Shore Park. Its 182 acres are nestled in the Lost Pines region and reside on Lake Bastrop – a place where fishermen thrive catching award-winning largemouth bass. Rent one of the park’s kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards or corcls (round watercraft for children) to take out on the lake. Pack your hiking boots and hit the 4.5-mile trail, offering an intermediate challenge for users with various inclines and descents, which connects to LCRA Parks’ Lake Bastrop South Shore Park. Along the trail, you can spot whitetail deer, jackrabbits, lizards and the occasional grey fox. Once you’ve arrived at the other park, you can show off your spike shot in a game of sand volleyball or tee off in a round of mini golf. Lake Bastrop North Shore Park also has a camp store for firewood, ice, snacks and souvenirs to make your camping experience even more pleasurable.

Cold weather glamping!
Loved our stay! Glat upgraded us for free to a cabin because of extreme cold weather, which we were so grateful for. The lake is beautiful, we caught a 14" bass and hiked a bunch. Stayed warm in the cabin even though it was 23 degrees at night.

A very cool cute spot, the tent was nice and it opens right to the sunrise over the lake. I was here during the winter vortex and the heat worked fine, plus I brought my own electric blanket and it was comfy. This tent is about 1/4 mile walk down a gravel trail + some lawn from the parking spots, next time I'd bring a wagon for loading and unloading. But on the other hand it's the most secluded! It was a fine time.

Fantastic family getaway
This tent has the best view of the water! Easy to access and get settled in. Comfortable bed and couch. The heater worked great for the cold nights. It’s got almost everything you need. The cookware is very limited so if you need a large pan, bring your own. The coffeemaker is a Keurig, in case you want to bring your own k cups. The nearby bathroom facilities are fine, but I would skip the shower (or bring flip flops). The outdoor seating was great, and the grill and propane stove both work great. Lovely walking trail to South Shore. Perfect place to relax!

Not worth $450
View and area are nice. The beds and cooking accommodations were very nice and parking was easy. Communication from support was quick and helpful through the entire experience. We booked during cooler weather and unfortunately the heater didn’t work, no hot water in the sink and the “hot tub” didn’t warm up to even 90 until we were packing to leave (almost 48hrs later. Still covered) I’m not sure about the showers hot water, since the heater wasn’t working and there was no way to warm up no one was brave enough to take a shower.
