Come disconnect from city life in the gorgeous Buescher State Park which is famous for the Loblolly Pine Trees. Come stay in a beautiful 33 foot RV in the woods. Dine outdoors with the RVs outdoor, covered kitchen, which includes a stove, microwave, sink and fridge. Enjoy the outdoors with biking, and hiking on premise, and rivers close by. 1 mile to nearst state park trail head and a few miles to a paintball facility. Then be able to cool off in the cold AC, or sit outside in the Texas breeze while watching local wildlife. Next door you have Buescher State Park which offers more than 1,000 acres of woodlands, including loblolly pines and the former state champion cedar elm, Big Tree. The 30-acre Buescher Lake is a highlight with tranquil paddling and boating, plus crappie, catfish, bass, and trout. The park features miles of hiking and biking trails, though serious bikers will want to tackle the challenging but scenic 12-mile road between Buescher and its larger sibling, Bastrop State Park. Plenty of wildlife, including deer, bobcats, armadillos, and more than 250 species of birds, also call the park home. Just 6 miles away you you run into Bastrop State Park’s towering loblolly pines which are unique to this part of Texas. A walk through the park reveals majestic trees that have survived and regrown from the ravages of forest fires—some of which devastated the park and the surrounding community years ago, but in the end revealed the area's resilience and beauty of nature. Located just 32 miles east of Austin near the charming town of Bastrop, this park offers a seasonally open swimming pool, fishing in Lake Mina, and miles of hiking trails. Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.
