The Texas Music River Ranch is 111 acres located near the quaint village of Webberville, Texas, only 20 miles east of downtown Austin. The large oak and pecan trees amid the rolling green hills of this gorgeous ranch land are nestled on the banks of the lazy Colorado River.

Swim, kayak, paddleboard or canoe...but there’s no better way to beat the legendary Texas heat than by grabbing one of our inner tubes and enjoying a calm, steady float along a river known for an abundance of fossils and wildlife. Or, perhaps you prefer to fish the shady tree lined banks. Either way, you'll see a variety of birds while you relax on or beside the cool waters of the Colorado River.

We're kid and dog friendly and we love musicians. Bring an instrument and join us for an impromptu jam session in our special events room or around the campfire. Cook dinner on our BBQ pit. Firewood is available. Contact Beth with any questions or requests.

We look forward to making your acquaintance and sharing our little piece of Central Texas heaven with you, your family and your friends.

Great quiet location right on the water. Loved that each spot already had its own designated fire pit. Everyone from host to other campers were extremely friendly.

great for being so close to Austin. Beth was easily reached via text and we were escorted quickly to our campsite. The campsites were not too close together and we were right on the river. Each site had a picnic table and a firepit and plenty of quiet at night.

The situation: 5 experienced, middle-aged, kidless campers on a weekend getaway. Stayed Saturday through Monday.

The good: Beth is super nice and even brought us some dried sage for the fire. There is plenty of firewood. There's a lot of land to explore. The land is beautiful. There's a swing set and looked like a fun place for families with kids.

The bad: Our campsite didn't have a table, it had been taken to another campsite. All other campsites were taken, so we had to wait until Sunday when all other campers left to carry a table to our campsite. The bathroom and shower situation is a little odd- it's a small bathroom inside a house at the top of the hill so only a port-a-potty is available near the campsites. There were fire ant beds all over our campsite. There was a nearby outdoor event on Saturday night with loud music and automatic gunfire that went on until 1 AM, not exactly what you want to hear on your camping trip. On Sunday night there were car races. and a lot of dogs barking on the other side of the river.

in my opinion for what we paid, the base price PLUS $10 per person per day and not even having a table at our campsite or peace and quiet and night, the campsite wasn't worth what we paid. Hope this review helps all.
