Located at the end of an unpaved road and adjacent to a small lake. Two RV Hookups (50 amp and 30 amp) on the same pole just installed. I spend most weekends in the area with my three kids kids and we like to explore the trails, camp, boat, shoot cans with bb guns, and explore. This place is NOT considered secluded or private but an awesome spot for a family getaway. It's generally quiet and very serene but you will share this experience with the occasional walker, jogger, or swimmer.
The camping area ends at the windmill and well house located at the center of the property. Please do not enter the white limestone Casita area. This is reserved separately. Thanks!

I had a beautiful overnight stay at this campsite. It's on a 1 acre piece of land in a neighborhood, so it felt safe (while still feeling remote). Camp is a 200m walk away from a lake. Lots of activities to fill your stay: wildlife watching, walking trails, boating, and fishing, and Hamilton Pool Preserve is a short 15 minute drive away. A picnic table is conveniently provided at this site, but be sure to bring your own water. If you have a car with 4WD, you can park right next to your campsite; otherwise, you will park at the top of a hill and walk 50m down to camp. This is a little haven in the hill country!

What a great property, and so close to Austin! My friends and I needed an affordable camping spot for a weekend getaway and this was perfect! The small lake is super close, just across a footbridge, but the campsite piece is secluded enough that you can avoid folks on the lake if you choose. I will mention that it is in a neighborhood, so there are dogs barking and other people walking around the path along Deer Lake. We also unfortunately had a truck playing loud music come down the large hill to our campsite several times in the night. I would absolutely recommend this site if you’re looking for a short weekend getaway and missing the outdoors. It’s proximity to Pedernales and Hamilton is another nice perk!

Great spot. Will be back!
Really nice area. There is a beautiful view and rolling hills and lots of cool deer to look at.
Kyle was more than accommodating. Located right by Hamilton's Pool, Reimer's Ranch, and Pedernales, the campsite had just about everything you could ask for. Kyle was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed, including a propane fire pit due to the burn ban.

Thanks for stopping in Breslyn! Come back anytime!
Had a great time ... it was exactly what we expected and more ! Great host ! Very prompt and attentive ! Will be back for sure !!! Great location!

We really enjoyed having you! I love the camping rig you have. Looks like it has probably seen an adventure or two, with many more to come! -The Journey is the Reward
The camping grounds were spacious. There were many amenities or tools provided for any activity that we could want to take part in, from a little Disc Golf set up to a kayak to take onto the lake. And the incinerator toilet in the outhouse was a thing of beauty!
10/10, would definitely camp here again, given the chance.

Thanks for staying with us! Great weather for climbing at Reimers. Glad y'all enjoyed yourselves.
Nice spot to camp. Don’t worry about setting your alarm. The roosters will wake you up.

Yeah, sorry Kirk, not the easiest place to sleep-in! But the sunrise over the lake is worth it? Hope y'all had a great weekend.
This place was perfect. There's plenty of land, trails, and paddling to keep you busy (or chill) for a long time. Even though it's a short drive from town, the night was dark and quiet. Two dads and four kids had a blast while the moms stayed home this time. Even the weather was perfect though I don't think Kyle had anything to do with that. He and his kids did, however, set up a very well-thought out and fun scavenger hunt for us all. I've already recommended this place (and website) to others. Thanks, Kyle.

Thanks Brent, my kids had a blast setting it up. Thanks for being good sports! Y'all are welcome back anytime.
